In what turned-out to be a futile attempt to observe and photograph the Perseid meteor shower (one day too late!), myself and Jonathan Grenier headed out of the city – to escape the city lights – with our cameras for a night of shooting. So, with no "shooting stars" to be seen, the plan was just to practice shooting star trails.
This photo was taken in Rigaud, Quebec, on a perfectly dark and spooky dirt road, using light from the car to illuminate the trees in the foreground.
